Does anyone know anything about "Broken Heart Syndrome"?
Recently my mother had what looked like a heart attack. I watched her turn blue, She went into convulsions. She got sick. and well you know...Blood pressure was high She had severe pain in her chest. Those were some of the symptons.
Which turned out to be Takotsubo Syndrome. Otherwise known as Broken Heart Syndrome. It is very rare and originated from Japan. Pretty much like a freak of nature happened or a phenomenon for it happening at all.
There is one place in this country that has a registry for this. There are only 40 to date. From what I've read it and seen. It is scary and knowone knows the outcome will be. This is pretty much what I have learned from researching.
I want to know about similiar cases and the long term effects. Has anyone ever known or have a loved one that has gone through this or witnessed it? Are there programs out there that can help her with expenses? Any bit of knowledge you know of or that can be found will be appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
