Help! I want a cat but my Dad is allergic to cats and dogs!?!

Help! I want a cat but my Dad is allergic to cats and dogs!?

We DON'T want a hairless cat, that's not an option.
What are some ways of reducing Dad's allergies?

It's not TOO bad, unless he touches one when he's wet.
Otherwise his eyes get kind of watery and itchy and he sneezes.

You can have a cat when you move out. Why make your dad suffer? Why don't you get a parrot or a fish?
