Question:

When a child (or anyone) gets sick w/"cat scratch Fever", do they always?--?

come down with a fever?
My sister's child (my neice) came down with something, but the doctors do not know what it is yet. THey ruled out cancer, as she's been thru some tests already.
Her brother had CSF b4 a few wks. ago but he of course had a very high fever, ended up going to the hospital, recovered--we're so worried about the little girl though! SHe's feeling ill but not feverish at all my sister says

Answers:

You'll have to wait for all the tests to come in. Have your cats shots right away or get rid of them. Everyone should take care of the animals they get for this reason. People will just never learn that animals get sick, they can and will, pass these illnesses to people because of the close contact with them. It's up to us to have this taken care of.

I know of one person that went through miserable surgery to remove infected lympth nodes under their arms due to this. But, her daughter, only seven, never got infected by the cat?
