Are there any bad effects to being anemic long-term?!

Question:

Are there any bad effects to being anemic long-term?

I mean serious effects other than fatigue.

Answers:

Yes,

There are different types of anemia, so different effects depending on the type.

If the hmg/hct get low and stay that way, your brain can become oxygen starved. The heart can also be affected. Risking a stroke or heart attack is not a good idea. You can become severely fatigued and have problems walking very far or going up stairs.

If you have anemia, find out what type and get it treated.
