Antibiotic question?

I have been taking Amoxicillin antibiotic for an ear infection now for about 7 days. They say to take it all which is 10 days but my ear still hurts, not as bad but still a little and plugged feeling. Do you think it is working since it isn't as sore or not because it IS still sore?

You should expect relief within the first 3 days. I would continue to take it until it is all gone. If the pressure is still there after the 10 days, your doctor should either extend treatment of Amoxicillin for another 7-10 days, or he/she should switch to a more broad spectrum antibiotic like Keflex or Augmentin.
