I'm an irritating parent myself. I don't smoke or cough, though. I do tend to ask questions three times, and repeat instructions three times, but then I'm a teaching assistant to high school students and it often takes three times for a class of 27 students to hear me. I'm irritating; embarrassing; I laugh funny; and I wear ugly out-of-style clothes, at least according to my 15-year-old daughter.
