Hypertension reasons?!


Question: Hypertension reasons?
Can someone tell me the reasons for Hypertension for someone whos NOT obese , ABSOLUTE NON SMOKER , Not tasted Drinks,is aged 33 and have no major family history of having high BP..?
Check in internet and all suggest to control diet and reduce Caffeine and smoking (when you dont smoke..what next..?)

Answers:

Have you actually been diagnosed with hypertension or did you just take your own blood pressure. One elevated reading is not enough to make a diagnosis of hypertension. You also need to be taking it properly.
The most common cause of hypertension is called "essential hypertension" which means that the reason that the blood pressure is elevated is unknown.
If you have absolutely no risk factors and have been diagnosed with hypertension by a doctor then that doctor should be advising you on what to do. There are some medical conditions which can cause elevated BP and these should be investigated if your BP does not decrease with exercise, low salt and low fat diet and possibly medications.
