What makes cancer cells so hard to treat?!

Question: What makes cancer cells so hard to treat?
I am wondering why cancer is such a hard disease to treat? What about cancer cells (physiology?) makes them devastating to the body?

Answers:

Cancer cells are basically ordinary cells that have gone bad. They keep replicating themselves. They mass together and cause tumors which kill off good healthy cells and or interfere with the bodys functions. Cancer cells can "break off" and go to other parts of the body and start growing there. Some cancers are treatable because they can cut them out, others they can't cut out because they are in or attached to some organ that you need to live. Chemotherapy is a drug that kills the bad, crazy cells (and good ones too sometimes) and radiation therapy is a big "zap" to the spot which again is to try and kill the bad cells.
When we can understand what causes good cells to go bad ( we already known some of the triggers) and can find a therapy that is 100% effective against these bad cells, people won't die from cancer anymore.

because they usually give no symptoms in early phase... and people usually come to doctor in advance stage thus make it already difficult to overcome.
(they already spread to other organ and make serious damage to main organ tissues).

Its hard to treat them because cancer cells effect the organs and good cells around your body. And in order to get rid of it you must kill the good cells to along with the bad ones. So its a very bad and long procedure.

um I asked my teacher, he said that when the call first starts of it secretes a chemical that makes uh white blood cells? Ignore the cancer cell like they see it but see no "danger" even as it grows and spreads..

If anyone knew the answer to that, they would be able to find out how to eradicate it.
