Question: Teens with Hodgkin's Lymphoma?

Have you or anyone you know ever had Hodgkin's Lymphoma? I'm 14 and I was diagnosed on February 9th 2011 with stage 2A Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I just had my 2nd treatment of chemo this week and i anticipate to have 6 more for a total of 8 weeks of chemo. I would just like to talk to anyone who can relate to what I'm going through right now. Thanks!

I had it when I was 10 and of all the people that have Hodgkin's Lymphoma you're quite lucky I must say. I had to have treatments for 6 months. It is not as bad as it sounds in my opinion. I think the worst thing is the fact that you can't do anything you want. For example wearing a mask to go to school, or not being able to go in public transportation during rush hour. If you have a caring family, and sensitive friends, you should survive this time quite well.
Oh and by the way... Hodgkin's Lymphoma is one of the cancers with the most chances to not get it again. Hope this cheered you up! I wish you good luck, good health and best Regards

Personal opinion and experience

I know 2 people who have had it. Both are alive and well today. I personally cant relate because Ive never had it, but the cure rate is really great. Hugs and prayers to you,
