lung cancer symptoms?!

Question: Lung cancer symptoms?
I am a 33 yr. old male. I started having some pain on my left side of chest. I went to the emergency room and they did an ekg, blood work and chest xray. They said everything was ok. I went back four days later and they did the same test and said everything looked good. They scheduled me for a stress test and that was ok. My doctor says its due to hurt muscles in chest. It has been a week since i went to the dr. and i now have constipation and my body temp has dropped to 97. What could this be? Should i be worried about lung cancer even though two chest xrays were good and all the doctors say my lungs sound fine?

Answers:

If a primary lung cancer were causing chest pain, it almost certainly would show up on chest x-rays. Lung cancers generally do not cause any symptoms until they are very advanced. To have chest pain from a lung cancer to small to see on chest x-ray would be extraordinarily rare.
Also, a primary lung cancer in a 33 year old is extremely rare.
Only 3% of lung cancers are diagnosed in people under age 45.
The average age of diagnosis for lung cancer is 70 years old.

Constipation and a body temp of 97 have nothing to do with your fear of a lung cancer.
Your lungs sounding fine tells us nothing about lung cancer.
Two negative sets of chest x-rays - if read properly - should
rule out any symptomatic lung carcinoma.

Do not expect anyone on the site to diagnose your chest pain if your
doctor cannot. It certainly does not sound like a lung cancer.

Your need not worry for lung cancer as it has been ruled out by DOC.
It seems DOC told you it to be intercostal muscle pain.
Better talk to your DOC again and clear doubt and get proper treatment.
