yellow liquid on cut (not pus)?!

Question: Yellow liquid on cut (not pus)?
i'll say again, its not pus im talking about. i googled about and people say its part of the healing process. i was just wondering if it helps to wipe it off or is it better to just leave it be?

Answers:

This yellow exudate is serous fluid which is a protein rich liquid, more or less blood with the cells filtered out. This leaks out of the blood capillaries in response to the inflammatory process following wounding. The proteins which form a scab precipitate as a reaction to air exposure and enable the scab to form. The main one is fibrinogen which converts to fibrin forming a matrix of fibres which start the healing process

I had that before when I had a severe sunburn on my forhead. I would leave it , I think it helps to form a scab. The less you touch a cut the faster it heals.

better leave it.
