Any answers about dvt?!

Question: Any answers about dvt?
I was at the dr a week ago. Had a full workup EKG xray and d dimer test. All fine two days after the hospital I started getting this burning pain down the front and side and back. It moves to different areas. And comes and goes. I did go jogging the day after the hospital and I never jog. I also went dancing two nights ago. Could it be a clot? The pain hasn't gotten worse just the same. I have no risk factors no swelling or redness just burning. What could this be? I've had ultrasounds on my leg before and it has never been a clot before... any idea??

Hi Jessica !

Try not to get too stressed.. because it can lead to a panic attack. You don't have a blot clot, so try to put that out of your mind. If for some reason you want to help your body from forming a blot clot, just take Kyolic Garlic every day. You can get it at the drug store, Wal mart, and health food stores. It is odorless, and concentrated and it thins your blood, while also strengthening your immune system. It is very good for your general health. Aspirin though it thins your blood can cause an eventual ulcer.

Regarding your burning leg pain, odds are very high you have a pinched nerve, most likely the sciatic nerve which runs from the spine down the leg. The burning sensation is typical of this pinched nerve. Now most sciatic nerves are pinched at the spine in the disc area between the vertebrae. See a chiropractor. They will x-ray the spine area to look for bulging or deteriorated discs. They can adjust the separation between the vertebrae relieving the pressure on the pinched disc.

Regarding your roving back and torso pain, it is probably the same issue. Again the chiropractor can identify and treat the issue successfully. The other possibility is you are passing little kidney stones. This causes burning sensations in these areas. When a person just starts to jog and workout and hasn't for a long time, it can dislodge the little stones, which are very sharp as they try to pass. Drink a quart of cranberry juice with no sugar to help clear the ureters and treat infection. The best way to avoid kidney stones is to drink plenty of fluids. Whenever a person starts an exercise program or diet they need to especially increase their fluid intake to avoid stone formation.

Regarding general nerve health, eat a well balanced diet including protein to help rebuild the nervous system. Taking a quality vitamin/mineral supplement is also good to make sure you are getting what you need from a healthy diet. Nerves especially need adequate magnesium and B vitamins.
