Question: Can I get a disease shaving?

I have teen-aged arthritis, and yesterday I was shaving using my roommate's electric razor ( mine broke last week so I have been using his) while I was shaving my hands started to shake i dropped the razor and it sliced my left thumb and left palm, well my roommate is a bit of a ladies man and I was wondering if I could have gotten a disease

It is not hygienic to share razors, but what went on with you may be something to check out.
