An auto immune disease is when the white blood cells(antibodies) start attacking normal healthy cells(IE-Cancer). Migraines are caused by chemicals reactions happening within the brain by certain stimulants-IE red food coloring, caffeine , aspartame,(just some common ones) BUT no one actually know what causes ALL migraines, these are just theories. Autoimmune diseases have nothing to do with migraines.

I get migraines just about every day, I know my neurologist pretty well.

Do you not have access to a dictionary? Obviously you have the internet...

An auto-immune disease is a disease resulting from a disordered immune reaction in which antibodies are produced against one's own tissues. Basically - your body fights itself instead of another disease. A migraine does not qualify.
