Question: Bruised and swelling! Help!?
I got a bruise 2 days ago. I placed ice on it for a bit without pressure in the first 30 minutes. I then learned I needed to put pressure and ice on it. Will putting pressure and ice on it now help the swelling? How long should swelling and the bruise last?

Yes. Ice helps the swelling and it will take about one week if it gets worse go to a doctor if you see progess keep putting ice
it wont help. bruises do tend to last depending on size and how the bruise was caused, it could last a while, 3-5 days
mmmm im not a doctor, so i couldn't say...but if it gets worse or changes colors, i would see a doctor if i were you....
