So if I had it today and it still looks fairly bad, should I go to school tomorrow?
I know it's a 24 hour contagious time stamp and stuff, but still. My eye looks horrible and I'm worried that they'll send me home but my parents think I should go.

It is 24-48 hours. They can not send you home for it if you have gotten the doctor's okay to go to school again after 24 hours. After 24-48 hours it should no longer be contagious.
