Do I have strep throat?!


Question: Do I have strep throat?
A couple days ago I got a sudden sore throat and a dry cough, last night I had a high fever and was sweating like no other, today I have nauseous all day but I thought it was hunger so I ate 2 cheesy roll ups and have been drinking water and orange juice. about an hour or so later I threw that all back up. I am now running a fever and sipping orange juice and still having trouble swallowing. Do I have strep throat? Or something else?

This is not strep. Get doctor help, because this could be something worse. Probably flu, but you might want to go to the Doctor, just to be safe.

I got strep so many times last year that I got my tonsils taken out.. it hurt like hell... x(

Strept throat usually looks like redden throat with white dots. The problem with Strept throat is that when it's resolving, you can develop Rheumatic Fever in the recovering phase of strept. Rheumatic Fever can damage to the valves in you heart. It's really important to get on antibiotics if you have Strept.
