Does hygiene hand gel and anti bacterial tissues really work?!

Question: Does hygiene hand gel and anti bacterial tissues really work?
or a gimmick

Answers:

Yes they do.

It is accepted that germ transfer in human interaction occurs through hands and keeping hands clean is one of the best ways to prevent germ transfer.

Hand gels and bacterial tissues kill most of the harmful germs on hands so constant use of these products prevents germs from being transferred.

In order for hand gels to work, they should have between 65-95 percent of alcohol in them. If the label says the amount of alcohol is in this range then yes they do work. If the label says less than the above amount of alcohol is present then they will not be effective. Hank

they do work. After putting on the gel make sure you let it dry - it's the evaporation of the gel that kills the bacteria. After 4 uses you should wash your hands with water to prevent a build up of alcohol gel residue that can cause skin discomfort
