My mom has cancer and I want 2 give her something 2 cheer her up any suggestions!

Question: My mom has cancer and I want 2 give her something 2 cheer her up any suggestions?
She was suppose to be going to cuba in a month but a couple weeks ago she found out she has breast cancer and starts chemo next week, and to top off her year my dad got laid off cause the company was worried he might try and go on there medical plan(very dirty). So she has been a bit depressed. I am organizing a fundraiser for the spring but I want to do something to cheer her up when she starts the chemo. I alread got her some jammy pants, a tropical candle, face mask, bath sponge. I am thinking of putting togather a basket or a couple diff themed ones for everyweek she starts treatment. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm sure your mom would love looking thru a book you make of pictures and fond memories written out. Something to help pass the time n give her reminders of how strong she is and what she is fighting for.

I hope your mom does well with chemo and beats the cancer. I will keep your family in my prayers. God Bless

This is a nice, thoughtful product to get her as a gift: https://dianeraeshin.scentsy.us/Buy/Prod…

It's a Scentsy Wickless candle warmer, and 100% of the proceeds goes to support The National Breast Cancer Foundation. So, not only is it a great product, and sure to brighten her day, but it's for a good cause, too. Scentsy also does fundraisers, if you are interested in the opportunity to help your mom out.

Best of luck to you and your family.

Get her the book, "Love, Medicine, and Miracles" by Dr. Bernie Segal. It's a wonderful book about extraordinary patients who have faced life-threatening illness and how they beat it. You might also want to get her a CD on guided imagery which helps the body fight cancer AND deal with the depression surrounding such a diagnosis.

Give her the gift of your time. Spend it with her. My little bro died of rare cancer. I wished I spent more time. Time is a gift that both will enjoy.

If she loses her hair she will need a hoody, scarf, or hat. You could get some DVDs.
