did i go through sleep paralysis?!

Question: Did i go through sleep paralysis?
Please if anyone knows what im talking about or has had an experience like this or similar to this please help me know what it was and please you guys are welcome to share your experience on here if you ever went through something like this. Okay so this morning i decided not to go to school because i just wanted to continue to stay in bed....a little while later as i was slowly drifting back to sleep i was half asleep so i was still kinda awake, well then all of a sudden i felt something walking towards me on my bed and then i felt something touching me and rubbing my back and playing with my hair i got so scared i didn't know what was going on, and i was on my side so i couldn't see what was behind me so when i went to go turn over to see what was doing that i realized that i couldn't move so then i started to panic and then i realized then that i also couldn't speak no matter how hard i tried i felt frozen, but eventually i went back to sleep and woke back up with no problem what was this, please help me figure this out because im not really so sure because i never experienced something like this before, was this sleep paralysis? This was such a scary experience.

Answers:

Sleep paralysis is completely normal, everyone goes through it in a normal night (normal meaning a normal amount of sleep). Its just that sometimes you can slip into it if you don't move when you're awake or something like this. However if you experience this more often, which is also normal if it happens again, you may also experience the "old hag" if you close your eyes. Basically the old hag is just the feeling of a presence watching you, I myself have experienced it several times, however I expected it at the time so it wasn't really scary.

Hope I helped.:)

Yep that's sleep paralysis. I can't sleep on my back because that's how I get it :) In order for it to go away quicker next time, just concentrate on getting back to sleep, the more you try and get out of it the worse it gets so dont try to talk or move or anything :)

Yep, you sure did. Don't worry about it, it's not terribly uncommon. And yes, it's very scary, but totally harmless as well.

as an expert in these matters i would say you have experienced an alien abduction.
