how can i raise my low blood pressure?!

Question: How can i raise my low blood pressure?
i dont have the problem..... my 85 year old dad has the low blood pressure.
a couple of months ago he checked his BP and it was normal 120/80
today he checked his BP and it was 90/50
he doesnt want to go to the doctor.
he said he gets "spacey" about 10 times a day (light headed or dizzy)
he does not take any medication for low or high blood pressure
my dad goes to work everyday and walks at the track a couple days a week (so he's ACTIVE)
he has a PACEMAKER and has had heart problems in the past
he eats VERY HEALTHY (fruits and veggies all day) with 1 coors light before he goes to sleep
PLEASE WILL SOMEONE HELP???????
ps NATURAL CURES if possible, he prefers to not take MEDICATION (but he will if he HAS TO)

Answers:

I too have low blood pressure and I faint as well.
You need to eat consistently, so your glucose rises.
If he starts feeling a little shaky give him 1tbsp of maple syrup or honey.
Anything to raise the blood pressure. Ask him to eat 5 meals with carbs and protein in it. It should be spaced apart every 3 hours. Because your glucose rises then goes down. It's a constant battle.

Before he sleeps, make sure he eats protein, meat, eggs, anything that has that.
Also, tell him to slow down when he sits to get up, the way the blood changes in the body, your body doesn't get used to switching from sitting then to laying down so tell him to take it easy.

OH and another thing! NO ALCOHOL. If he wants to drink... then only 1 drink that too has something to do with blood...

The Pace maker your dad has provides the electrical stimulation his heart needs to function. If your dad says he takes no medication then why not go to the Dr in your local medical center they will have the echo machine that will tell him if he needs anything done. Yesterday I went to the Hospital for an echo on my valve and I'm working this arvo. Get him to go. A couple of please don;'t die daddy and a little cuddle and he'll be off.
