Wow nobody told me I won the lottery! It's more rare than most other cancers, but I assure you, with as many as I've met since my diagnosis, it's not as rare as most think. As for ages, young children and people over 40 seem to be diagnosed more often. Very young and elderly appear to be more at risk for the highest and most deadly grade, anaplastic astrocytoma grade 4, or glioblastoma multiforme.
