There are a number of makeup products designed to brighten or camouflage the dark under-eye circles. Laura Mercer Secret Camouflage is one of them, but Clinique, Benefit, Maybelline,Physicians Formula and other cosmetic lines also make products. I'd suggest going to Sephora if there's one near you and asking what they'd recommend.

I would recommend cutting cucumbers and putting them on your eyes to reduce dark circles. (see reference)

I had dark circles but it was because the skin under eyes is more sensitive to damage caused by the sun. Projecting areas get tan quicker, I used a my finger nails (or a em-re board) and scraped off the damaged tissue and let the new skin come through. I had pink strips under my eyes for a few days.

My remedy is an eye cream. I dont have enough sleep because I have a 2 year old daughter that wakes me up at night most of the time. I have dark circles and to help reduce it I bought this eye serum from New Zealand. If you are okay to use an eye cream, look at the ingredients and see that it should have eyeliss and haloxyl on it.
