Sounds like bull to me. Once chlamydia is treated, its gone for good. I've heard of relapses after a few weeks, but never seven years after an infection unless you get reinfected. I would still talk to a doctor before you throw his flat screen out the window as he likely deserves. (Oh also try keying his car. Very therapeutic.)

The story seems pretty far-fetched, or maybe something was lost in translation. The only possibility that might be called a relapse would be if he had a chlamydia infection for a long time, which he was unaware of because there were no symptoms, and now symptoms have appeared as swelling in the testicles - this can happen. However, chlamydia does not cause a cyst and cysts caused by something else cannot be independently infected by chlamydia. A person either has chlamydia or they don't - it doesn't relapse. The only way it can return is by becoming infected again through sex with an infected person.

If you have had unprotected sex with him then you would also likely have chlamydia. It would be a good idea for you to get tested.
