Can hair dye burn your skin?!

Question: Can hair dye burn your skin?
I dyed my hair a few months ago and after i did i guess the hair dye stayed on the back of my neck to long. but either way i feel little bumps at the edge of my hair line and they itch like CRAZY! and when i scratch them, they dont bleed but wet stuff comes out of it and it grosses me out. can any one tell me what this might be? and what i can put on it. i have on cortizone 10 right now!

Yes, they have a chemical in them. You are supposed to perform a sensitivity test. There is a warning on the package. You should probably not use it again.

Never leave a dye on for more than the label says.

Hair dye can burn your skin if left on too long or if you have a sensitive scalp. I advise to not use harsh chemicals on burn area. Even soap could irritate it. If it has puss coming out then you might want to go to a doctor and get a prescription cream, it might be infected from germs in the hair to your pillow case. Yea go to a doctor.
