Question: Afraid of being intimate with low self esteem about body image?
I have an awful body, because of my health condition, I have a colostomy, but keep myself super clean, the bag is well-disguised when I'm dressed, but a guy I've met and gotten close to is sending out body language signals he wants to get closer, and so do I, except he has no idea what's wrong with me, and I know at some stage I'm going to have to tell him, he's a gentle, caring guy, but I'm afraid of being rejected if I have to tell him, and of course I'd tell him way before we got into any physically close entanglement. He knows I've been very ill with my bowel, but that's it, I don't know how to tell him or to broach the subject. So far we've chatted lots, danced closely, and kissed passionately, but nothing more. I'm afraid of being rejected, or if he doesn't, then actually being 'closer', as I've not been intimate with anyone for over three years, what do I do please?

You'll never know if you don't give it a chance. You could miss out on someone great from fear. He obviously is interested so give him a chance :)
