chronic, extremely bad insomnia/narcolepsy?!
Question: Chronic, extremely bad insomnia/narcolepsy?
My best friend whose meant the world to me since we met in 2nd grade has been suffering from insomnia for the past few years, and absolutely nothing has helped her, from therapy, melatonin, counseling, and other sleep medications.
and honestly, now that I think of it, if doctors can't treat it i'm not sure if this was the best idea to ask for advice on y!a, but you guys are bright and you get minds and intellect here you don't find anywhere else. :)
She falls dead asleep in class uncontrollably in the middle of tests, taking notes, etc,
but can't fall asleep for the life of her at night.
and it's wrecking her life, she's failing classes and has made some pretty bad decisions and i feel like she's wasting her life and body away.
Please, if anyone has anything to say that might help her sleep or help slap some sense into her, it would be appreciated so much. <3
