Ok so, I of course wash my hands first, because If you don't wash your hands before using facial cleansers, you aren't gonna get anywhere.
I used to have moderate acne in the same places as you, and It does really suck.
I use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for normal-dry skin every other day.
The other day, I use Proactiv because using this everyday, will make your skin very dry. (Works like a charm though)
Everyday daily, I cleanse my face with a facial mask, facial lotion, or just soap and water to make it soft, and every night I use Cetaphil, I put toothpaste on those tough pimples to dry them out, so they will be gone faster.
I did this process for 2 1/2 weeks and I had a very clear face. BUT... Once you have clean skin.. you can't slack off on washing your face. You should still do your daily routine of Cetaphil and Procativ every other day without the toothpaste and extra stuff cause your skin is used to this, and the last thing you want is for it to come back! Make suee you get makeup that is supposed to be ok to use so you don't get acne back. Proactiv sells this. Also, make sure even when you don't have acne, cleanse your skin with a facial mask or something to keep it smooth!!:))))))
Hope I helped! No lie with this, It worked for me! My skin type is oily. When I had acne, It was oily, dry, and flaky. :(((((
Good luck! P.S. Always use your hands for washing your face not a towel because that is bad for your skin!!!(:

Check out these products... Proactiv(: It DOES work, people just over use it.

I reccomend the Refing Mask, Daily Oil Control, Oil Free Moisture, & Deep Cleasning wash with your 3 step kit! Whatever fits your you!(: Oh, If you get Proativ, you will need cotton balls for the 2nd step, so make sure those are handy!

There have been a lot of scary stories with Accutane. It's powerful and if you don't have severe acne (like all over and horrible and you don't ever want to leave your house), you shouldn't risk it.

I've tried a bunch of drugstore products and Proactiv, but the only thing that has worked for me is SkinID by Neutrogena. I would try it--they have a 60-day free trial so you can't really lose.

Honestly nothing will help with acne, besides accutane, go to the dermatologist..I know how you feel acne sucks, I have had it since I was 12, tried everything!! Finally went to the dermatologist and got put on accutane am18 now, been on accutane for 2 weeks..

Ok first of all the best ways to avoid getting pimples is:
do NOT touch your face or pick your pimples or try to get rid of them with your hands...
try to keep your HAIR away from your face as much as possible.
buy special acne wash or soap and wash your face twice a day (morning and night for example)

and as for getting rid of them try natural solutions. you say your face is oily? there are hundreds of natural remedies and face mask recipes you can find online using home ingredients. not only it is easy to do and cheap to make, but you are sure that the things you are putting on your face are not harmful chemicals but instead natural and nutritive for your skin...
here is a quick website i searched up for you:

http://www.ayurvediccure.com/oilyskincar…

But remember getting rid of acne (especially when you are prone) cannot happen overnight...
in order to get rid of or lighten the acne you need to be persistent and be regular. slowly by slowly you will see the difference.

hope i helped!
