Question: Strep Throat...How long will it last?

Last night, my throat just started hurting out of the blue, and I felt weak. I went home and my mom gave me Tylenol PM. ( I think I spelt that right ) then I went to bed. I woke up, and it was 10 times worst.
I want it to go away ASAP, but the thing is I cant take penicillin or antibiotics, I'm allergic to both.
How Long will it take for it to go away, and what are some things i can do? :) Thanks!!

If you have strep throat you need to go to the doctor. You're are going to need something to get this out of your system. In the mean time try some warm broth, soups, warm tea, and maybe even some popicles.

So strep throat is something you just decided you had, with no reason or medical exam. Well, it could be anything, and will probably be gone in the morning. If not, maybe you can search the net for something even more severe that you won't have. Barring that, gargling with a light mix of salt water may help, along with tea and honey.
