Even after (and right before) a girl gets her period there is blood in the vaginal and if you have any minor cuts or scrapes like most of all of us do that blood gets into those openings and you can get HIV. Be careful. I hope you were careful before she got the diagnosis. I wish you luck.
If you have any open sores on your fingers yes you can get it. Try using a dildo instead then your body parts won't be anywhere near her.
