Two red raised bumps near my mouth?!

When I open my mouth the skin there breaks and causing a scab. I'm not exactly sure what they are. Im fairly certain it's not a pimple because nothing comes out.
I know I should pick it but I did to see what happens and it just goes to a flat layer or skin then when it heals back it's a rasied bump again.
My question is what are they
How are the caused
And how can it be treated.
