Question:
Boil-like bump with small clearish hair coming out?
Well, for starters, it is on my hip, under the skin. The area is really dark in color, and it does hurt. I took a look at it under a bright light and noticed a tiny little hole. Thinking it could be a stinger (because I was around a few bees), I attempted to pull it out.. The only thing that I found was a small hair-like fiber that came out, and it seemed clear, almost white in color. it was maybe a 1/4 inch long. The bump, however is about the size of a dime, and is very painful. What I do find funny, though, is that there isn't any puss, or head really whatsoever. I've done a little research, and I've come to numerous results, but, I don't want to see a doctor if someone has had a similar problem, and it was harmless. I've only had this for about.. 3 or 4 days. If it does get any worse, I will see a doctor about it. But for now.. Has anyone had anything similar to this? And if so, what have you done to help it?

My friend had something like this, it was also on her hip under her skin.
It turned out that it was from her jeans being too tight in a certain spot and it trapped out fresh air and allowed sweat and oils to build up. The doctor said it was somewhat like an enlarged pimple from her hair follicle being infected.
The hair may be from the fact it could be an infected hair follicle and one was growing and it's growth was haulted and therefore it looked slightly abnormal.
It also very well could have been some kind of bug (tick or spider) bite or sting.
