Question: Whats this nerve jumping in my shoulder blade area?
hi, about a month ago while i was sitting down i noticed that i had a muscle ( i think) jumping or twitching in my left shoulder blade area on my back up high. It didn't happen any more while i was sitting and now it is present every time i lie on my left side in bed. It is so uncomfortable. I have no real pain with it although i do have achy shoulders sometimes. What is this and how do i stop it???//

More likely than not this is a nerve running from your neck taht is being impinged, go an see a doctor or physiotherapist. they can further guide you, if it is severe enough a CAT scan may be necessary.
If you have very tense neck and shoulder muscles a bit of accupunture or a good massage may relieve symptoms.
