Is slow heart beat rate a sign of heart weakness????...need professional advice?!

Question: Is slow heart beat rate a sign of heart weakness????...need professional advice?
My heart beat rate is about 60 beats/min. My age is 26 and body-type average.
generally, I've seen that the beat rate of similar aged people is >70 beats/min
I've also heard that generally sports person tend to have slower beat rate since their heart becomes big.
I am not into any kind of professional sports, but sometimes I do play with friends and have noticed that I do not get tired easily as compared to my friends.
My heart beat rate has always been below average from an early age.
Till now I do not have any issue with my heart, but in future can this become an issue???

Your resting pulse rate is normal. Normal resting pulse rate is 60 to 100 beats per minute (bpm). Well trained athletes have resting pulse rate of 40 to 70 bpm.
Resting pulse rate < 60 bpm is known as sinus bradycardia. You should consult a cardiologist if you have sinus bradycardia together with symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, light headedness, confusion, blurred vision or fainting.

60 bpm really isn't that slow, it's a pretty decent efficient heart-rate, and like you said, you're just in better shape then your friends.

If it's below 35-40 you need to worry, and then it could be a sign of weakness, or strength, because marathon fanatics tend to have heart-rates around that area.

So no, you're not at a higher risk of developing a heart-issue

normally heart beats r 72 per minute
if it drops to 40 or below this means one has heart block and needs pace maker.
it may get slow down in sport people the reason is their cardiac reserve increase and force of contractability of heart increases such hearts r good but heart rate will not go down than 55 to 60 and they have good stamina.

doctor

Normal sinus bradycardia for a healthy young male. No cause for concern.

If you have a concern about your heart, call your doctor. Dont come on yahoo.
