could i have diabetes?!

Question: Could i have diabetes?
we learned about it in biology last week and im afraid i might have it. i have unquenchable thirst and im always getting a weird taste in my mouth (its kinda sweet or chemically it hard to explain) but my dad has the taste thing to. i have to go to the bathroom quite a lot and i start feeling weak and tired quite frequently. But the thing is i when to the doctor for something completely different and she ended up doing an all around blood test and nothing turned up just one of my sex hormones was high, but that was around 6 months to a year ago and the going to the bathroom thing and the tired and weakness is pretty new. is there a chance i have diabetes?

There might be a slim chance but I think you're just scaring yourself. Search hypochondriac on google. I think that's the right word? Anyways if your symptoms persist go see a doc. Talk to your dad about what he thinks you should do

We should all get annual physical exam including blood draws! This will eliminate needless worry such as yours.

The thirst/bathroom running is most noticable when a person has had high glucose levels for more than several years. It doesn't come on suddenly, but rather creeps upon us. Thirst is not being able to quench thirst no matter if we pour gallons down in an hour or so. Bathroom running is like every 10 to 15 minutes.

Tiredness goes with teenage psyche.

Do go see the doctor for general health checkups including blood draws.

Yes probably do u get hungry easily even though u already ate? I think u need to the doctor again. Anyways, diabetes is heriditary.
