You could say your boyfriend has the stomach flu or he has had food poisoning. Is he able to drink liquids?
On the serious side, check the whites of his eyes, if they are yellow, then it could be hepatitis A which usually heals by itself anyways, but just thinking about what else it could be.
That's a long time to be vomiting. But if he seems to be getting better now and can drink at least 2 cup of water a day then he will probably be ok. Any more vomiting or serious stomach pain and you need to take him to the doctor.
Have him get tested for HIV, these sound like possible symptoms.

Get him to a doctor anyway. It seems like there may be something more than the flu. Even if things are getting better, have him checked out.
It wouldnt hurt to see a doctor...but that sounds pretty serious to me, probably some type of virus, nothing to worry about too much.
