i usually hardly ever get coldsores, now im getting 3 in a row in 3 weeks

Reactivation can be triggered by trauma to the skin, menstruation, sun exposure, stress, fever, and other causes.
Which means you need to see a doctor. You have an infection, and it is not leaving until you fight it with some medical advice. I don't know what you have already tried, any medicines or anything like lozenges or steam inhalation or gargles. But what I know is that whatever, if you did it, did not work. And you have to have help from a doctor with antibiotics, etc.
