You're not going to get it twice but you can get HSV1 on both your mouth and genitals. If you have a compromised or lowered immune system, you can get it on your genitals when some one with a visible cold sore gives you oral sex.
I have HSV1 on my mouth and my genitals, so it's possible.

One you get this virus you typically have it for life. It usually remains dormant most of the time after the initial outbreak, but it can become active again and cause additional outbreaks. Your body's resistance to the virus is probably what keeps it dormant, but anything that impairs your immunity could possibly trigger an outbreak.

I have HPV and I am an engineer who works for the largest STD dating and support site STDslove. com. I have to tell you a secret, you can choose not to believe me. But the truth is that this site has more than 1,880,000 members and about 80% members are good looking in my estimation.

Unfortunately, STD rates soar worldwide and most people with STDs don't even know that they have them. The government should grant more money for STD education to lower the rates of STD transmission.
