What treatment is available for low adrenal reserve?!

I recently had a saliva test to test my adrenal glands and i found out they are very low. I sent away and paid for the test because the NHS only do a blood test for it and i got told it has to be extremely abnormal or they will say it is fine. I went to see a private doctor about my thyroid problems and he recommended i had my adrenals tested and he said i should go on some supplements called Nutri adrenals to put them right again but i'm not convinced they are right for me or that they will work so what is the general treatment for low adrenal reserve?
