HIV enters the body by attaching itself to CD4+ lymphocytes and dendritic cells that are abundant in genital mucosa. Single viral particle is enough.
Tears and cracks facilitate transmission. After enering virus replicate quikcly and enters blood stream, lymph nodes, nervous system, etc.
