What could be wrong with me?!

Question: What could be wrong with me?
Let me start with some info about my self.
I'm 17 years old, female, 5 ft 1", 130 pounds.

I've had stomach ulcers before and took antibiotics for it.

I am currently taking ritalin for ADHD, prozac for anxiety, and an acid reducer.

I have been having random reoccurring abdominal pains for the past couple months. The stomach pains are made worst by eating high sugar foods. Yesterday I ate some onion rings and cinnamon buns from pizza pizza and i had the most severe abdominal pain. I had to take two advil and some tums before the pain started to subside. I recently had an ultrasound to see if i have stomach ulcers. However i recently heard that you cant diagnose stomach ulcers through ultrasound. You need the stomach camera. So what is my doctor doing?

Any, i don't know if this is related but recently i had a 'episode' of some sorts. I was sitting in my room playing games. I suddenly felt like I was going to pass out and my vision became blurrly. I started hallucinating and was sooo dizzy. I stood up and my legs were very weak and wobbly. I was scared so i called my mom. She came home and took me to the emergency walk in clinic. The doctor said that i probably had a virus or something. I recovered from it in 24 hours. I'm fine now.

Anyway, Anyone have any idea of what could be wrong with me.

Answers:

1. Your stomach problems: you probably have stomach ulcers, not necessarily bleeding or perforated ulcers. Avoid acid foods and certainly hot foods (hot as in Mexican chile) (not sweet foods). In case you have again an episode of excruciating pain: drink half a glass of milk.- The calcium in the milk will combine with the acid in the gastric juices. If this is not enough follow it up by a Ranitidine pill. Painkillers are like band aids. And yes if this stays like it is now you will need the stomach camera (endoscopic exploration) They will even give you the video!

2. The episode: this has all the symptoms of an episode of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). You should therefore be tested for diabetes.

All the best:

well, look at what you ate, silly. you had onion rings, cinnamon buns, and you complain of abdominal pains.

If your ADD could be treated more naturally and you stopped the ritalin, i think it would go a long way in

treating your anxiety. What kind of doctor puts a kid of amphetamine salts and says your anxious and

prescribes. Prozac is very strong, and is contra-indicated in use by adolescents.
