how to get rid of severe acne after giving birth?!

Question: How to get rid of severe acne after giving birth?
I have always had acne since I was a teenager but I used to be able to keep it fairly under control. When I got pregnant it got a lot worse and nothing would work (even all the old things I used to use that had previously got rid of spots) If I was lucky it would get a little better for a day or two here and there but mainly it was really bad. I assumed after I had my son it would calm down a bit, but it seems to have got even worse since then (i had my son 8 weeks ago) and is constently so bad makeup doesnt even cover it up really. I just wondered if anyone else had this and what you did to get rid of it? Any advice would be helpful as it's getting a bit depressing now (what with already having to try and get rid of extra baby weight and the baby pouch! lol) thanks! :)

ps i already wash my face with clean and clear daily scrub everyday and use tea tree face masks

Talk to your doctor about antibiotics (and tell him or her if you're breastfeeding).

Sometimes just leaving it alone, completely can help. No picking, so scrubbing, etc.

Sunlight can help.

Diet can really help--try to eat as close to the earth as possible. Low sugar, low salt, drink lots of water, eat your fruits and veggies, whole grains and limit fats and grease.

It does take many weeks for your body to completely shed all those hormones. I'm sorry this is depressing you--try not to focus too much on it, it WILL pass. Dermablend works wonders to cover things up, but only use it when you're heading out...try to let your skin breath as much as possible.

Take care, congrats on the baby--things do get better with time.
