please answer this for me???????????????????!

Question: Please answer this for me???????????????????
firstly im a major anxiety sufferer, slighest thing sets me off.

i was on my pc earlier, and chest was little sore on left side, was at ER last night said they think i have muscular inflammation, ECG normal, BP 144 over 77 pulse 70bpm. so basically i felt chest and then got a sore sudden flutter under chest, what was that??????????????

also noticed my heart was beating faster than usual, i ate over 2 hours ago and my heart goes hard and faster after dinner, doctor says doesnt think that, but it does i told him!!!!!!

so i turn round on computer chair and get flutters in stomach, then heart starts to beat faster, not rapid (normally does) went into bathroom and splashed face with water and took half beta blocker 40 mg propanol, (on these for panic attacks).

so now its calmed down, but when it happened had 2 feelings just under chest like a skipped beat flutter empty feeling, my doctor says when you in panic attack you can get skipped beats, how i dont understand that??????

so basically do you think im ok, or something wrong, and can eating higher your heart rate, it wasnt tachardic but faster, like id say 90bpm instead of normal 70 or 75bpm

in past 6 months had 2 blood tests over 10 normal ECGs and normal 24hr holter monitor.

That's normal for an anxiety sufferer, I suffered with a severe anxiety disorder for years. When I got a panic attack, I would throw up, shake, cry, fidget, hyperventilate and my heart would beat really fast and get skipped beats. Its called palpitations.

I would also recommend you talk to your doctor about therapy, as beta blockers don't help the cause of anxiety. Therapy helped me, Im now anxiety free, I haven't had a panic attack in over a year!

I understand how you feel, and it can feel like everything is worse than it is, but I promise it'll get better if you get help :)

Good luck x

Sounds like you are having palpitations. They feel like a skipped beat or an extra beat and are mainly caused by stress. Your heart rate is fine. Normal heart rate is 60-100 so your 90 beats were fast but probably brought on by stress. You are afraid something is wrong with your heart. It's not. All the normal EKG's & monitor proved that. You just need to stop worrying that something is wrong. Dehydration will cause a faster heart beat also so keep hydrated and relax, you are fine.
