I'm scared, chest pain, what could it be?!

Question: I'm scared, chest pain, what could it be?
So i get this pain in the left side of my chest every now and then, either when i haven't eaten or when i eat something very 'heavy' i don't know if this is the cause of what the chest pain is, but it scares me. I have asthma, but it's not major, i hardly need my inhalers anymore. I'm also not sure if it's actually my 'chest' it feels like it could be my heart, a lung or anything on the left side. It's like a weight is being hung on it, like a stabbing pain which is heavy?, but it's not actually painful, i can just feel it and i shouldn't be able to feel any stabbing in my chest should i?

Heart Burn, Acid Reflux syndrome and bad indigestion all give "Heart attack" type symptoms, in this case, mild chest pains. If this is an ongoing problem, your physician will likely prescribe you Nexium.

very unlikely its cardiac related, probably gastro related. try PPI's (proton pump inhibitors) such as lanzaprazole omeprazole or gaviscon see if it helps. Also see your gp and get some base line bloods done, dont worry either, stress will increase the pain.

how long does the pain last for...if its only a short time it could be anxiety

had this myself.

Isn't diagnosis what doctors train to do ?

Gas. Watch what you eat and drink.
