Question: Is it safe to receive the Hep B vaccine while having Fifth disease (adult)?
I found out Saturday morning that I was in the 10 day to 5 week cycle of having Fifth disease. I'm on no meds, of course but being an adult with it, I'm super sore. I didn't think anything of it when I went into work to get my Hep B vaccine. Is there any possible issues with receiving the shot while having Fifth disease in my body? (yes, I'm well aware that my family doctor should be asked this question but he isn't back in the office until Wed)

If you haven't gotten the vaccine, don't get it while sick. If you already got it, try not to worry. There's not much you can do at this point.
