Question: I scratched my arm and i got this huge rash?
i didn't eat anything different or weird today, detergent is the same, i guess my skin was a little dry but this has never happened before. i was just on the computer and my arms just got a tiny bit itchy so i was scratching them not even that hard for about 5-10 seconds. then this huge red rash starts to appear on both arms!! i put some aloe on it too. what do u think this was and do u think it will go away overnight?

There are so many different causes of rashes that it is very difficult to narrow down any specific cause of one. Common categories of rash are:

scaly patches of skin not caused by infection,
scaly patches of skin produced by fungal or bacterial infection,
red, itchy bumps or patches over the body, such as on the chest and back.
