it IS a hormone, but not specifically human. Insulin is found in most animals.

It is NOT growth related, but bodies with insulin problems can have growth-related problems.

Growth hormone like IGF+ Insulin like growth factor. Insulin is very important for a body builder before training.

The insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) are polypeptides with high sequence similarity to insulin. IGFs are part of a complex system that cells use to communicate with their physiologic environment. This complex system (often referred to as the IGF "axis") consists of two cell-surface receptors (IGF1R and IGF2R), two ligands (IGF-1 and IGF-2), a family of six high-affinity IGF-binding proteins (IGFBP 1-6), as well as associated IGFBP degrading enzymes, referred to collectively as proteases.

Insulin is good for neutralizing blood sugar but sometimes or causes also the decrease of CoEnzyme Q10 in our body known as CoQ10 which is the battery of our heart. Insulin is a hormone that is central to regulating carbohydrate and fat metabolism in the body. Insulin causes cells in the liver, muscle, and fat tissue to take up glucose from the blood, storing it as glycogen in the liver and muscle.

Insulin is produced by Islet cells of Pancreas. As and when blood glucose level increases, such excess glucose is converted into fat and stored in the body and thereby ensures growth.

insulin is not a growth hormone It is secreted by pancreas gland.Diabetics have low insulin level, high insulin level will lower glucose level

Most of the insulin diabetics take is synthetic. It's not a growth hormone.

no, it helps the body maintain safe glucose levels.
