Question: I have a red spot under my bottom lip, what is it?

I don't think it is a cold sore, but it might be. It hasn't tingled ever, but is red and medium sized. I cannot see anything else, however it is painful most of the time. Please help, as i have no idea what it is. I also do not think it is a cold sore as i haven't kissed anyone with one, and it hasn't tingled. Please help, thanks:-)

It could easily be a cold sore if you drool while you sleep and the saliva has been breaking down your lip. Happens to me sometimes... Also, 70% of the population has Herpes-virus lying dormant in their cells; they were born with it. Since herpes causes cold sores, when you're under stess you can get them. Just avoid licking at it, try putting some antibiotics on it?

I've heard of this before. It is a spider bite. From your description, it sounds like a Brown Recluse, one of the most poisonous spiders in the world. I would not hesitate to go to the emergency room immediately to seek treatment.
