I'm looking for a way to soothe and treat psoriasis that's natural - a!

Question: I'm looking for a way to soothe and treat psoriasis that's natural - any ideas?
I have a really hard time with my psoriasis, especially in the winter. I've tried a lot of doctor prescribed things with no luck at all - they may soothe my skin for a little while but have no long term effects. Does anyone know a good, natural way to treat my psoriasis?

Work on your immune system from within for long term. Anything that will make it stronger. For instance, vit d, vit c, etc.

In the meantime, as this takes a while, you can try homemade remedies. What works for one, may not for another. Experimentation is the key.

Castor oil works for many people. Jamaican Black castor oil seems to be a favorite. Epsom salt baths also work well for many. Possibly b/c the magnesium is needed in the body and is actually better absorbed through the skin than taken orally.

The main cause of psoriasis is overreaction of the immune system. Keeping it in a balanced state is the key point of battling this disease. I try to eat healthy food and avoid stress as much as I can.
After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use serenaskin psoriasis remedies .
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with psoriasis extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.

I've had really good luck with products from Seaweed Bath Company. The body butters do an awesome job moisturizing my skin and the bath powders help control outbreaks more than I thought they possibly could.
