How long will my allergic reaction to amoxicillin last?!

I finished my 7 day dose of amoxicillin 5 days ago. I went to the ER a day and a half ago they prescribed me prednisone (a steroid pill) and told me my reaction was from the amoxicillin. I was having hives, rashes, itching, a sore throat, and swelling in my hands.Since starting the steroid my swelling and my sore throat has gone away but they didn't tell me how long it would take my horrible rashes to go away. Does anyone know?

Ps. Dont tell me to take benadryl, I have been taking it every six hours since my rashes started and it hasn't helped.
